Angry Bull 2 Artist: RABI KHAN
2013
Rage
Describe
- red and black-bold colors
-edge lines between the shape of the bull and background
-organic shape of the bull
-horizontal and diagonal lines
-positive and negative shape
Analyze
-the bold colors express an intensity really well
-the downward slope of the bull's neck shows motion and an aggression
-the swirl of the two colors as well as a gray color adds texture to the painting
Interpret
-I think that Khan's use of the bull was very appropriate in expressing the emotion rage or anger. It shows aggression and intensity in one figure. The two colors, red and black, were also appropriate for they are both associated with anger and darker emotions.
