The Indus River Valley Civilization was established around 2,600 B.C., near modern day Pakistan. This was around the same time as ancient Egypt. Not too much is known about them. We do know that they likely rivaled Sumer. It is believed that there were two twin capitals, Harappa and mohenjo-daro.
