Rule of Three

Lifted by Pixar. In this scene, the alien is trying to abduct the human and get him into the spaceship. This is a rule of three because he tries to lift him three times. The first two he fails, and in the third one he succeeds. But within a few seconds, the human falls back down and it makes it funny.
