Inspiring Flow Stories: Kentucky Entrepreneurs Hall of Fame

A few weeks ago, we sent out an email to all of our FlowVella friends requesting your submissions for your successful creations. We know that you have amazing small businesses, classrooms, projects, and causes that you share in the Flows that you make… so why shouldn’t we showcase them? We are starting a new “Inspiring Flow Stories” series, featuring a new Flow every month that one of you has created. You’ll also be able to catch a new Flow Story in our bi-monthly newsletter. We were so pleased with the response, and we are happy to share the first one with you today!

Kentucky Enrpreneur Hall of Fame - Inspiring Flow Stories with FlowVella

The first Flow, Entrepreneur Hall of Fame, was built by Isaac, an 11th-grade student in Kentucky. Isaac also interns for a Lexington-based startup accelerator, Awesome Inc. and writes for their blog. With FlowVella, Isaac created a really detailed presentation featuring some of the successful entrepreneurs in the Lexington area that have been inducted into their Hall of Fame, as well as emerging entrepreneurs.

As to why he built the Flow? Isaac said, “I made this presentation because I was helping set up an event for a Lexington startup accelerator, Awesome Inc., honoring successful business people in Kentucky (EntrepreneurHOF.com). When I thought about the people being recognized, I was inspired to make a presentation to help share their stories with attendees. At the event in Louisville, 10 iPads were placed at cocktail tables and loaded with the presentation so attendees could explore. They even got a compliment from one of the inductees themselves!”

Isaac said that the “ability to import media from a variety of places” was his favorite thing about building with FlowVella.
