Knights

The duty of a knight was to learn how fight according to the code of chivalry
Knights were expected to guard the castle as service to their lord. Knights were also often the youngest son, and therefore had no inheritance. About 10% of the population were knights.

The code of chivalry stated that knights needed to exhibit cultured knightly qualities such as being courteous and loyal. The knights should also be brave fearless in battle.
