Polar bears, also known as urus maritiums, are an endangered species. They are located in Canada, Russia, U.S., Greenland, Norway, and the Arctic. They are clearly part of the Arctic Tundra biome. Polar bears are endangered for reasons like global warming and Arctic drilling. They are also hunted for their fur. Their primary source of food is seal. They are omnivores, so if they must they can eat vegetables too. They are secondary consumers on the food web. They're niche is to keep the seal population down. If these animals go extinct then seal population will go up.
