It was hard for the Aztecs to trade and travel. They made causeways, stone bridges, to get to the mainland easier. The water was undrinkable, so they made a stone aqueduct for fresh water. There was little land for farming so they built chinapinas, floating gardens. They did all this to accomplish one thing, their capital city,Tenochtitlan.
