Main conflict: Whether or not the Jesus statue in Bethany park should stay. Jordan Riley believes that statue should not be there, as sign of the separation between church and state.

Minor conflict: Jordan Riley is fighting against God. When Jordan was little his mother died of cancer, which cause his sister and him to be separated. Worst of all he was separated from his best friend and neighbor, Faith Evans. He always wondered why a god who is named love would let this happen.

Minor conflict: Heidi Davis is joyful about the baby growing inside of her, but a piece of her heart is broken when she found out that her brother Jordan died.
