Three Wise Men

-The three wise men(TWM) replace Santa
- the TWM deliver the gifts
-Like with Santa, children write lists of what they want
- instead of reindeer the three wise men have camels
- children leave there shoes on the balcony and fill them with straw or barley for the camels
- in return TWM leave presents
-nowadays, the TWM leave presents under a tree, similar to Santa

- There are many similarities between Santa and the wise men
- They both leave presents
-Children make list for both of them
-Children both leave something for them (cookies or food for the camels)
-Santa having a beard was taken from the TWM
-the tradition of Santa and leaving presents is taken from the wise men
-Both leave coal for bad children (the three wise men's coal is made out of sugar
