The sides where the first part of the clock I started on. They took many steps to make. The first step is cutting it with minor saw. The next step was drawing a curve and then making a hole with the awl. The next step was to drill a hole (where the hole was marked with the awl) with the drill press. The next step was to cut the curve out with the band saw. The final step was to sand the curve with the disk sander. This just made the curve smooth.
