The Holy Spirit was with Jesus during His death and resurrection. When he was stabbed in the side water spilled out symbolizing the Holy Spirit entering the world.

Jesus revealed the Holy Spirit to a Samaritan woman, Nicodemus, and other disciples. He promised to send another advocate after his death.
