Photo-what now?
Photosynthesis is the process in which plants combine water and carbon dioxide to make glucose. First, the plant takes up water from the soil and carbon dioxide from the air. Then, organelles called chloroplasts use a substance called chlorophyll to collect the power of the sun. This sun power is now used to combine carbon dioxide and water to make glucose.
Chemical formula:
H2O+Co2+Sunlight=C6H12O6
