The Leaning Tower of Pisa was created in 1272 by a man named Giovanni de Simone.
Engineers that were helping construct the tower built upper floors on one side taller than the others and this is why the tower leans in a 3.99 degree angle.
The tower is 183 feet on the short side and 185 feet on the long side.
