The symbol I chose was the birds from the story "Come again in the Spring". I chose the birds because the old man always fed them and took care of them, and they helped the old man remember the questions that the bad person asked him. The person would have killed the old man if it weren't for the birds, so I thought the birds represented life and freedom from the bad person.
