Describe-
From the viewpoint of the shore Glacken's painting shows a bay

Analyze-
>Blue dominates the painting
>The small brush strokes create movement.
>The sail boats are repeated through out the work
>The yellow orange shore complements the blue water
>The horizantal lines of the water and shore are broken up by the diagonal lines of the dock

Interpret-
Glacken was trying to show how nature is used and enjoyed by man.
