Christ of the Abyss -San Fruttuoso, Italy

*This magnificent statue was made in 1954 and placed underwater.
*Due to erosion and forming of crustaceans, the statue was removed from the water in 2003.
*It would be amazing to actually see this sculpture in real life where it now belongs to a museum.
