Food of Barbados
The national dish of Barbados are Cou—cou and flying fish. Cou-cou is similar to grits but is more creamy and is made from corn meal and okra.
Flying fish is usually served as a side for Cou—cou. It is made in tomato-based sauce but may also be served with stew, salt fish, or red herring.
