John Calvin was one of the most influential people that had led the reformation, except Luther. He was able to spread the simple reformation ideas throughout society with his speeches and writings. Calvin was different from other leaders, he did not think that the pursuit of profits could help anyone and I which helped lead to the beginning ideas of capitalism.
