WWI started when the Archduke Francis Ferdinand was shot and killed by the black hand. Then Germany, Austria Hungry, and the Ottoman Empire became the Central Power. Britain, France, Russia, the United States and 20 other countries became known as the allied powers. Then the war was ended when the armistice wS signed.
