ELEGY POEM
O' doggie! my doggie! you were my friend
My grandma went on to take her to tend
We all loved her with all of our heart
but her end was moving away the start
She lived... she lived...
and then she died
So sad but her life was very prized.
we loved her so much that we cried.
O' doggie! My doggie! you were so fluffy
black and furry and such a cute puppy,
but when you grew old we all started to worry,
Your possible death got everyone nervy
here puppy! O puppy!
please take my treat
we miss you so much we started to weep
We miss you so much my furry buddy
We get a phone call about our friend
As he goes to a new place around the bend
He is in paradise peacefully licking
when his furry life started slipping
I miss his sniffing
on my face
and playing and licking
all of our plates
