Judaism
Judaism is one of the five most practiced world religions. It began 4000 years ago in the Middle East. Abraham, they believe, is the father of Judaism, and started this religion himself. People who practice this religion are known as "Jews".
The Jewish religion is based on these beliefs: There is only one God (Yaweh), prayer is to be directed to God alone, and a Messiah will come to save His people.
The Jews read and study a book of rules called the "Torah", which many also know as the first five books of the Hebrew bible. The sacred rules they live blare called "Kashrut".
Worship is a very important concept to the Judaism religion. Jews worship in synagogues, or "Shuls". Many scholars and teachers lead this- and prophets are spiritual leaders to many.
Symbols of this faith: Star of David, Menorah, etc.
