In the NBA, Dr. J lost in the NBA finals twice, against the Portland Trailblazers and the Los Angeles Lakers, but came back another year and swept the Lakers and Dr. J was an NBA champ.

He became the only professional basketball to win a championship in the ABA and the NBA.

He took home the All-Star MVP one year, and was also the league MVP.

He also had the scoring title and was in the top ten of every offensive category in the NBA, as well as the ABA.

Julius Erving is now in the Basketball Hall of Fame.
