Guilds

-Middle class were merchants and artisans
-They began to pass laws and collect taxes from the town they were stationed in
-A child of the age of 7 would become an apprentice to guild master for 7 years
-Most apprentices became journeymen, or payed workers
-If you're related to a guild master then you become one
-Woman dominated in certain trades
