Job duties

Physicians and surgeons diagnose and treat injuries or illnesses. Physicians examine patients; take medical histories; prescribe medications; and order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests.treat injuries, such as broken bones; diseases, such as cancerous tumors; and deformities, such as cleft palates.
