Where I'm From (Part 3)

I'm from Irvine,
the Philippines,
and Vietnam.
Sinaag and phó

From the one hand my grandmother
used to lift crabs.
From the time my nieces and nephews
Danced the night away.

All around my house are pictures
Some faded, some framed.
I am from those memories.
And they have given me the ink
To write my story.
