- There are many laws regarding slavery in the code, which shows how much people practiced slavery at that time.
- Slavery was like a form of currency during that time. They used slaves as a medium of exchange and categorized them with lands, cattle, etc.
- The first nine laws in the code were about accusations.
- In that time period, false accusations were very serious. Most of the laws regarding false accusations resulted in the death of the accuser.
