Clinical Description

▫️Primarily affects boys
▪️Rare disease that occurs in 1 per 3,500 live births
▫️Symptoms develope around the age of five
▪️Prognosis: varies; some die in infancy while others live into adulthood

🔹slow running
🔹difficulty in getting up from the floor
🔹difficulty in climbing stairs
🔹waddling gait
