He becomes friends with two seniors, Sam and her stepbrother Patrick. As their friendship develops Charlie begins to break out of his shell and embrace life. He becomes a happier person and feels he can be himself around his new friends.

The film shows how difficult it can be to be a teen of our generation and addresses a number of serious issues teens face everyday. Many questions we asked ourselves everyday are present in the film.
