How do Earthquakes affect the environment, animal habitats, and plant life?
Environment: Destroys vegetation, kills and injures many people. Destroys buildings and homes costing the government millions of dollars in repairs.
Animal habitats: Landslides caused from earthquakes affect their habitat. Earthquakes cause their homes to be demolished from all the land destruction, cracks in the earths surface and shaking.
Plant life: Shakes the ground causing roots of plants and trees to come apart. Trees and branches fall off constantly during Earthquakes.
