BARRED GALAXY

A barred spiral is formed like like a normal spiral galaxy but there is a bar shape on the middle. The current hypothesis is that the bar structure acts as a type of stellar nursery, fueling star birth at their centers. And some scientist believe that galaxies have an evolution stage and that the barred galaxy is a stage before a spiral galaxy.
