Main Character(s)

August Pullman is the main character in this book. When he was born he was diagnosed with Treacher-Collins syndrome. August is very unique, his eyes are to low and ears are to small, but he makes it work no matter what happens. He is also very anti-social he doesn't make friends with people because they all look at him and talk about him. August can also be moody at times like when his parents tried to talk to him about school he was excited but also mad. He also hates being babied by everyone. August's sister Olivia(Via) is very over-protective when ever someone is mean to August she threatens to hurt whoever it is! Via is also very pretty and is popular at her school she is also very social the complete opposite of August she is always making new friends. When August starts going to school he makes a few friends and Summer and Jack are two, Jack has all the same interest as August, but Jack is energetic he is always the wild one he is always making the best of things at school, he is also very funny he always cracks jokes in class and makes everyone laugh. Summer on the other hand is smart she is always getting A's in her classes and helps August with his homework and she is always very friendly on the first day of school she tried to make friends with August.
