This is Erno Rubiks. He is the maker of the Rubik's Cube. Rubik made the cube in 1974 but it didn't get produced (as a toy) until 1980. His question was "How could the blocks move independently without falling to pieces?" This is what inspired him. He didn't make it to be a toy yet it was a top selling toy in 2009/2011
