Experiment

The agressive group would watch adults beating and kicking the Bobo doll, as well as verbally abuse it with predetermined phrases

The non agressive group would observe an adult playing with a set of tinker toys

Then they would be shown another set of toys in a different room, and be told that they weren't allowed to play with them

After being denied the 2nd set of toys, the children would be taken to a third room with more toys (some were suggestive of agression, like dart guns)

Note: The children were divided further into groups of boys observing men, girls observing women, boys observing women, and girls observing men

72 children were selected and then rated on a five point scale of how agressive they were. They were put through a series of rooms full of toys
