There are many things that make tropical rain forests amazing on their own way. These rain forests are huge and they even have four layers from top to bottom. At the top is the emergent layer, then below that is the canopy. Below the tops of the trees is the understory, then on the ground is the forest floor. As said in the name, rain forests have the most precipitation per year than any other region or biome on Earth. Even though the soil is acidic, these forests have trees covering almost the entire forest! The rain forests cover 6 to 7 percent of the world! That is what makes a rainforest amazing.
