The first Computer

In 1944, Harvard University mathematician Howard Aiken invented and created the Mark I computer. Not having the electronic advances we have today, the machine weighed 35 tons, much more than the computers we are used to today. This computer could find the product of two 11 digit numbers in 3 seconds.
