Women in the Army

Summary:
-Because the US entered WWII they wanted women to contribute to their country.
-Since most men were at war women had to work more.
-During the war women's main charge was to support the war while the men were fighting it.
-At first women were only Army or Navy nurses but then they branched out to serving militarily with the Coast Guard and Marine Corps.

-When the United States entered the war they needed as much help as possible so they started to accept women more.Through the conflict women were given more responsibilities then they had before.Also women were able to do new things such as serve with the Army which is something that they couldn't do before.
