Many believe that the reason the US legislative branch is willing to legalize marijuana is because they don't want another Al Capone. According to his business card, Al Capone was a used furniture dealer, but in reality Capone was The Boss of all Bosses, probably the most notorious mobster in American History earning $60,000,000 yearly just on bootlegging alcohol when the US banned it in 1920. Today, even suburban moms are becoming pot dealers bringing in $3,000 on a bad week. If weed becomes legal in the entire US, stores like tobacco shops can open up for cannibis, marketing more money for the US from taxes.

Al Capone, notorious Chicago mobster.
