The Women's Professional Baseball League was created in 1942 and ended in 1957.
The women professional league was started because when it was made during world war 2 all the men who played base ball went to go to war so they made a women's league so they could play baseball. The reason the Women's baseball League ended was that between 1949 and 1951 nothing changed people where leaving and they where not getting new people so in 1957 they shut down and the Women baseball league.
The Women's Professional Baseball League was created in the United States of America.
