Alopecia Areata is the abnormality of the skin. Alopecia is a very intriguing auto-immune disease that stricken many across the globe,With this diseasee, the immune system mysteriously attacks the hair follicles. Hair follicles as we all know are the point from which hair grows. The damage to the hair follicles can lead to hair loss on the scalp and elsewhere on the body. In the majority of the cases seen the hair falls out in small, round patches the size of the quarter. The disease normally only affects a few patches of the kin. In rare cases, the hair loss can be very intensive causing widespread loss of hair loss of hair throughout the head, face and body. White blood cells in the immune system attacks the cells in the hair follicles that make hair. stem cells are not targeted which means there is possibility of hair re-growth.
