Treatment and medications

At the present time their no cure for this disease. The prescribing dermatologist may give one or more of the following:

* Corticosteroids are medicines used to suppress the immune system
* Minoxidil is a a hair re-growth medicine
* Anthralin alters the skins immune function
* DPCP ( Dyphencyprone) it gives an allergic reaction in order to cause redness, swelling, and itching, they believe this allergic reaction tricks the immune system causing it to send WBC to surface to fight the inflamation.
