Bucket List: Australia for a Day
I would arrange a trip to Sydney, Australia with my mom and she would drive up from Dallas, TX which is about six hours. She would later pick me up and drive us to Kansas City International Airport which take three hours. We would go through the security and leave on our flight at 3:25 pm and land in Sydney International Airport at 6:20 am (23 hours 55 minutes) on Sunday June 1. We would be staying at the Stamford Plaza Sydney Airport Hotel with a Superior King room. Also, our would be an Economy Car which is $82.09 per day. The flight, hotel, and car will cost a total $5,999.84 or around 1,996 per person. I would then take an hour nap to get rid of some of the jet lag. We would then drive around to see the Sydney Opera House and later go to the Maroubra Beach which takes 16 mins to get to from our hotel. I would enjoy a nice swim there for a few hours and later go to a good place for lunch. Once that is done, we will go back to the beach until about 4:00 pm. We would then go back to our hotel and order room service for dinner and fall asleep. The next morning we would eat breakfast at the hotel. Next, we would go sight seeing and venturing around the city. Later, we would go to Twenty 8 Acres for lunch which has a 41/2 star rating and is supposed to be a great place to eat in Sydney. Then I would find places to shop locally and find things to buy to remember Sydney. Later in the day, my mom and I would go to the Sydney Opera House to see a musical event that was showing. For circle seats, it would $89.00 per person. Later we would go to fancy restauraunt to eat a fancy dinner. Then go back to the hotel and go to bed. The next morning we would pack up and take the car back to the rental place and fly our way back home.
