Ribbon / Leafy

The Ribboned Sea-dragon can be recognised by its elongate body with bony knobs above the eyes and spines on the body ridges it grows to 30 centimeters in length. It is known from the central coast of Western Australia around the tropical north to northern Queensland.
The leafy sea dragon are up to 18 inches long.
Diet: Small invertebrates, including shrimps and other zooplankton, and larval fishes.
Lifespan 5-10 years
Range: Australia’s southern coastal waters.
Habitat: Sea-dragons live among the boulders, kelp and seagrasses of Australia’s temperate reefs.
