Biden had a tendency to slack off, and started cramming for final exams 10 days before them. He passed in three out of four classes. He most likely would have flunked his class in property, but, the professor died, and everyone in that class received a passing grade. He was allowed to return for his second year of law school despite failing in his contracts class.
