Napoleon Bonaparte was born on August 15, 1769 to Carlo Maria di Bonaparte and Maria Leitzia in the town named Ajaccio which is the capitol of Corsica. Napolean had a brother, Joseph; and younger siblings, Lucien, Elisa, Louis, Pauline, Caroline and Jérôme. Josephine de Beauharnais was Napoleon wife did not have a kid but he did have a kid with one of his mistresses. 1796 Napoleon is given charge of the French army in Italy. 1796 Napoleon wins the battle of Lodi. Same year he wins the battle of Arcole. 1797 he wins the battle of Rivoli. In 1799 he overthrows the directory and becomes First Consul of the directory. In 1802 Napoleon changes the educational system in France. In 1802 the plebiscite confirms Napoleon as First Consul for life. In 1805 the battle of Trafalgar happens and Amiral Nelson dies. In 1806 Napoleon names his brother, Joseph Bonaparte, king of Naples, and appoints other family members to various other posts. Same year Confederation of the Rhine. Same year the Holy Roman Empire is abolished and Prussia joins Britain and Russia against Napoleon. May 5th 1821 Napoleon dies.
