Effects on Humans

Symptoms-

Around the age of 3-5 months, the parents of an infant with Canavan's disease will begin to notice that their baby is becoming delayed in motor skills like turning over, lifting their head, and sitting up by themselves.

Their body might witness symptoms as well. Generally, a child with Canavan has an abnormally large head size, weak muscle tone, abnormal posture, intellectual disabilities, seizures, eating disorders, and sleep disturbances.
