Farming, Agriculture, Trade, and Inventions

These two twin cities, centered around the Indus River Valley, were built from nomads in India around 2500 BC. Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro, like many other cities of it's time, were connected by trade and were dependent on agriculture as it's main economic activity. These cities came up with the revolutionary idea of sewer systems, community bathing, and irrigation systems to assist farming. They had unique never-before-seen features such as flat roofs and 90 degree angle roads.

A birds eye view of what we believe Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro looked like.
