Forensics in the past

~18th century autopsies were rarely preformed
~The court decided on the punishment/suspect of murder (it was very bias)
~In the early 19th century autopsies became more common and medical witnesses were necessary in court
~After 1738 textbooks containing education on medical witnesses were made
~In 1834 there were 37 medical school in Great Britain containing medical witness programs
