Alexander Patch
-He was an officer in the United States Army, best known for his service in World War II. Patch graduated from the United States Military Academy before serving as an infantry officer and machine gun instructor in World War I.

- Born in Shizuoka Prefecture, Ichiki graduated from the 28th class of the Imperial Japanese Army Academy in 1916. He subsequently served two tours as an instructor at the Imperial Army's Infantry School in Chiba
