I told myself to stay cheerful. Things wonderful happened despite being in jail. Members of the public visited me and threw me flowers and cards. They told me they believed in love too.
One of these people was the daughter of the guard. She sat and talked to me for hours and kept my spirits up.
I had to tell her I was to die soon. So I left her a card and signed it, love from your valentine ❤️

Shortly, I found out that this message was an exchanged message from loved ones. It was written on the day I died, February 14, 269 A.D. This day every year people (married couples, etc.) write that and send and receive gifts.

They think of love and relationships. Nothing can stand in the way of love, it's the strongest bond. Hence the name- valentines day.
Love from your valentine. 💕
