Background Info.

Life Cycle: Eggs hatch in 3 to 9 days into nymphs called "crawlers", which are very moble. Individual mealy bug take 25-30 days to grow into adults under normal conditions. There are 12-15 generations in a year.

Description: Small (1-3 mm). They have a loose, hairy and waxy cover used to build their nests.

Mealy bugs spread different ways, males fly to different plants, and females crawl to plants.
